Stump City Brewing is as local as it gets: a small family-run brewery in a barn on West Fulton Street in Gloversville, our hometown. Its name honors the timber once cut nearby for the city's leather tanneries, and the taproom is full of local history. Two Gloversville makers teaming up on a beer just made sense.
A white stout brings the coffee character of a stout in a light, golden beer. This one is brewed with our At The Cabin medium roast by our Gloversville neighbors at Stump City Brewing.
Stump City Brewing opened in 2017 in the hamlet of Meco, on land that had been in the Sherman family for years. Friends, family and the community helped clear the lot and build the brewery and taproom. It's a New York State farm brewery, making its beer with New York ingredients.
