Wellesley Island State Park Campground
a warm welcome to you.
Wellesley Island State Park is the flagship park of the Thousand Islands and the largest camping complex in the region, with 432 campsites laid out across an island in the St. Lawrence River reached via the Thousand Islands Bridge. The Fox loop provides 56 full-hookup sites, and the park also rents rustic cabins and twelve two- and three-bedroom vacation cottages, several available year-round. A full-service marina with dockage, boat rentals and four launch ramps makes it a natural base for St. Lawrence boating and fishing, and the grounds include a sandy swimming beach, a nine-hole golf course, camp store, laundromat and arcade. The Minna Anthony Common Nature Center anchors a preserve with three miles of shoreline, wooded wetlands and accessible trails, and runs a seasonal 16-passenger Voyageur canoe program in summer. Alexandria Bay and Boldt Castle lie nearby.
