Hotel Mountain Brook is a mountainside boutique lodge set on wooded grounds above the village of Tannersville in the Great Northern Catskills. Built in the Adirondack lodge tradition and restored as an upscale inn, the property spreads accommodations across a main lodge, an East Lodge annex, a multi-bedroom suite with a kitchen, and two standalone private cabins, The Raven and The Rose. A complimentary homemade breakfast with a continental buffet and a daily chef's special is served each morning, and a 24-hour coffee and tea bar is available to guests. The Lounge serves as a dining room by day and a bar with a stone fireplace by night, while a games room offers books, films, board games, shuffleboard and foosball. Outdoors there is a stone terrace for marshmallow roasting, a bocce court, and a yoga and stargazing deck. Hill Street leads down into downtown Tannersville, and Hunter Mountain, Belleayre Mountain, the Mountain Top Arboretum and the region's waterfalls and hiking trails are all close by.

Dogs of all sizes are welcome in East Lodge rooms and the three-bedroom suite; the main lodge and cabins are pet-free.
